Welcome to my online massage course! First, I’d like to thank you for enrolling in this course and trusting my knowledge and education. A little about me: I have 21 years experience in the industry, first gaining my Diploma of Beauty Therapy, followed by my Bachelor of Health Science in Dermal Therapies, then came my Diploma of Cosmetic Tattooing. In total, I have studied more than 20 courses in the beauty, dermal and tattooing fields.
When I studied my Diploma of Beauty Therapy, relaxation massage training was included in the course. I found the training completely inadequate, and went on to study massage live in Bali in the mountains of UBUD, and decided I wanted even more training, which at the time, was not available in short courses. So I took myself to the library and read every book on massage, and practised new techniques, many of which I created myself, on my clients, gathering their feedback along the way, until I developed my own style of massage and innate ability to tailor massage to each and every client.
This is why I want to pass on my knowledge to you. I believe that we should all have access to amazing training, which we can study in convenient times and not invest 12 months or more, especially when many of you have already studied either massage or beauty therapy before.
In this course, I have included everything that a massage course for beginner should have, such as anatomy and physiology of the entire body, but also written massage instructions, and video tutorials of full massage treatments, and of me showing you in detail and explaining the massage treatments.
Keep in mind, that whilst I am extremely great at my job, and I am a great trainer, I am not an RTO, and you still need to practice within your scope. So at the end of this course, you will be able to offer relaxation and deep tissue massage services, but I still recommend avoiding serious injuries and conditions unless you hold a diploma of massage therapy or higher.
This course is fantastic for you to start your massage career, or for beauty therapists wanting to level up their massage game, instead of following the boring 6 passes of each stroke which is so monotonous that you feel like falling asleep yourself due to boredom. This course will teach you how to have your clients leave saying “OMG that was amazing, your hands are MAGIC” (Which is what my clients say to me!
