Covid-Safe Policies
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment
Where possible, avoid bringing guests and children to your appointment, to limit the amount of people we have in the shop at any time
All clients must use the hands-free sanitiser station at the top of the staircase before entering the main shop area
NO FOOD OR DRINK is permitted in the clinic
If you cannot arrange a babysitter, children attending the premises must be attended to by a parent or guardian at all times, and will not be permitted in the clinic if left alone at any time.
Avoid touching your phone and personal items once you have used the sanitiser station
Please complete all digital consent forms prior to your appointment where possible
General Policies
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your first appointment to ensure appropriate consent forms and paperwork are completed, and to ensure your treatment runs on time
Please be mindful of other clients and treatments, and speak quietly when in the salon, in case another client is enjoying a relaxing massage or facial treatment
No guests or children are permitted to Laser appointments. We do not have spare safety glasses and therefore no extra persons are allowed in the treatment room
Where possible, we request that additional guests and children do not attend your appointment with you, unless prior approval given - we are trying to minimise the amount of clients in the space at any given time due to the pandemic
Children are not to be left unattended, and certain treatments require your full attention, so sometimes it may not be suitable to have children with you - please call ahead to discuss if unsure

Some appointments and consultations children are welcome, but please advise prior to booking to ensure the safest room is used and to make sure children arent attending unsafe treatments. Certain bookings, like laser and tattooing cannot have children attend. I will make all efforts to accomodate you and your children, but some treatments its just too unsafe. So please discuss this with me first.
Cancellations and Refunds
Treatments/services are not transferable to other individuals without prior approval from Amity
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to be given for any appointment cancellation, and appointments must be cancelled via a telephone call
If you cancel via a text or a social media message, your cancellation will only be date/timed from the moment Amity reads the message, and not prior. It is your responsibility to ensure Amity receives and reads your message before the 48 hour cancellation policy kicks in
If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, or do not attend a booked appointment, we reserve the right to retain your deposit, and/or charge a cancellation fee, equivalent to 50% of the cost of your appointment – or $100 per hour of time allocated to your appointment
In the case of pre-paid treatments, the cancellation fee will be deducted from the pre-paid amount
In the event that we are able to fill your appointment time, the cancellation fee we charged you, will be credited to your account
Refunds will be provided where required in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. We don’t refund for change of mind.
Our procedures and products may not be suitable for you and whilst all due care and skill is exercised in treating our clients ultimately it is your responsibility to determine if the product or treatment is right for you
We remind all clients that it is critical that you complete all paperwork and consent forms truthfully, to allow us to best recommend the appropriate treatments and products for your health and needs. We discuss your options with you at your appointment, and require our customers to have realistic expectations for their services.
No guarantees are made of any of my treatments whatsoever, and you take full responsibility for the treatments you book in for, that they may not work, and all treatments carry potential risks and side effects. It is your responsibility to read and complete all consent forms and read this website fully prior to booking
If you attend your appointment more than 5 minutes late, you will be charged the full cancellation fee and your appointment will be rescheduled. You will be required to pay another deposit.
If you attend your appointment with a cough or sneeze, no matter the reason, you will be charged the cancellation fee and your appointment will be rescheduled. You will be required to pay another deposit.
If you have a condition which is not contagious which causes you to cough, you must bring a letter from a medical GP stating the condition and that it is not contagious. You must also wear a medical grade mask covering both your mouth and nose at all times. You are not permitted to book a service which required you to remove the mask – for example, a facial.
We reserve the right to refuse treatment and charge the cancellation fee if you attend the clinic with insulting or aggressive behaviour or comments. If you insult Amity or her staff in any way, you will be charged and asked to leave and not return. No exceptions.
If you attend your appointment under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or in a state which means Amity is unable to perform the treatment you have booked in for, you will be charged the cancellation fee and asked to leave.
By booking any treatment with Amity Alice you agree to all the terms above completely
Prepaid Treatment
Pre-paid appointments have a 12 month expiry date, at which time they revert back to a monetary value for a further 24 month period, at which time they will be void if not used.
Pre-paid treatments still incur cancellation fee’s if less than 48 hours notice is provided to cancel or move an appointment
You agree to these terms by purchasing pre-paid treatments.
ONLINE BOOKINGS:
All online bookings are required to be paid in full. Please be aware that some treatments require a consultation prior to booking in, and you must ensure you have a consult prior, otherwise you will still be charged for the booked appointment that will not be performed.
The treatments that must have a consult prior include all cosmetic tattooing, tattoo removal, eCO2 Laser, laser hair removal, Laser pigment removal, HIFU and skin needling.
It is always recommended to book an initial consult with me prior to booking any skin treatments, to ensure you know what treatments are best suited to your skin.
The cancellation policy still applies for all olnine bookings.
PLEASE COMPLETE RELEVANT CONSENT FORMS PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT, AND PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CANNOT ATTEND ANY APPOINTMENT WITH ME IF YOU HAVE HAD INJECTABLES - ANTI-WRINKLE INJECTIONS OR FILLERS IN THE 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT.
AMITY ALICE ACADEMY REFUND POLICY FOR LIVE AND ONLINE COURSES:
Refund Policy
Pursuant to the Australian Consumer Laws (ACL) refunds will only be given if the below criteria has been met:
Amity Alice is unable to deliver a course for which a learner has paid fees; or
The learner has paid to Amity Alice an amount greater than the course fee(s) as advertised at the time of enrolment; or
The learner is otherwise entitled to a refund pursuant to the ACL.
Notwithstanding a learner’s rights under the ACL, refunds cannot be given for any of the following alternative reasons not prescribed as grounds for a refund under the ACL:
Failure to review and consider all information presented on the Amity Alice website prior to enrolment
Change of mind
Incorrect choice
Change of circumstances
Financial hardship
If you make a payment but want or have seen a different price elsewhere
Unwillingness or inability to comply with the requirements of a relevant course
Employer or organisation not accepting the course
Academic or general misconduct
Where a refund is not required by the ACL, refunds will not be provided unless requested within 5 days of the payment being made.
Where it is proven that a learner has paid to Amity Alice an amount greater than the course fee(s) as advertised at the time of enrolment, Amity Alice will refund to the learner the amount which is the difference between the advertised course fee and the amount paid by the learner.
Where regulatory changes may have impacted course conditions and/or requirements so as to cause learners loss or disadvantage, learners may not be entitled to a refund. Amity Alice will inform learners of the nature of the changes, and of changes to course requirements and/or conditions, including timeframe and teach out or transition provisions. As any loss or disadvantage to the learner is not caused by Amity Alice directly, there are no grounds for granting a refund.
Learners are advised to consider all information provided on the Amity Alice website, including the FAQs, course information, resources, instructions, the Fees and Charges Policy and this Refund Policy, when considering enrolment into a course.
Where a refund is granted, such refund will also require cancellation of any Statements of Attainment or other documentation issued due to non-completion by the learner. Where any printed documentation has been issued, for example the certificate of completion, the learner will be required to return the documentation to Amity Alice, before the refund can be finalised, and no longer able to refer to having completed the course.
Where a learner has purchased a bundle and wishes not to complete one or more of the bundled courses, if a refund is granted in accordance with this Refund Policy, the bundle discount will be deducted from the amount of the eligible refund.
Amity Alice provides a 10 day cooling off period, where a course has been purchased and the learner has not yet commenced that course. The cooling off period is deemed to be waived if the learner commences their course including completing enrolment, completing and/or submitting pre-class tasks and/or submitting assessment material for that course.
